Brunei Events recently hosted its Virtual Treasure Hunt Holiday Edition 2021 as part of the Brunei December Festival 2021.
It was the second Virtual Treasure Hunt event hosted by Brunei Events with a total of twelve teams in groups of four participated in the hunt to solve riddles and challenges for the chance to win cash prizes and take part in the lucky draw.
The event started with a team check-in via Zoom at 7.45 am followed
by a short doa and quick briefing, then flagged off at 8am.
All participants were given four hours to do the treasure hunt, where teams were needed to submit all their answers latest by 12pm the same day.
As before, the event was done online with the exception of the goodie bag distribution for the participants which was done via contactless drive-thru.
All teams then assembled at 3.30 pm via Zoom for the Winner’s announcement event.
First, the answers were revealed for the Hunt, followed by the lucky draw before finally, the winning teams were announced. Some of the lucky draw prizes included a Pova mobile phone, a one-night stay at the Radisson Hotel and dining vouchers from RBC, The Brunei Hotel and Mulia Hotel, among others.
More than half of the participants won these exciting prizes in the lucky draw.
The winning teams who took home cash prizes were; Web Warriors in third place netting them $300, Four Foragers in second place winning $400 and finally, the champions BFFS taking home $500.
All three winning teams were returning teams from the first Virtual Treasure Hunt hosted last November.
The Virtual Treasure Hunt Holiday Edition 2021 is part of the Brunei December Festival 2021 an initiative by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Brunei Tourism Board to promote domestic events in various categories.
While we are now just entering the Early Endemic phase in Brunei, this event
was in support of the #TERANAHDIRUMAH initiative by the Ministry of Health earlier where most events participating in the Brunei December Festival 2021 were held online.
The Virtual Treasure Hunt Holiday Edition 2021 was presented by Brunei Events and proudly sponsored by DST with supporting partners Imagine, Progresif, Red Bull, The Brunei Hotel, Radisson Hotel, Mulia Hotel, SUCI, Tecno Mobile, YellowPages, MINT, MixTrade, MixMedia and media partner, The Bruneian.
