Print Plus and Darussalam Assets donated a total of $13,655 to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam from their recent charity campaign collaboration.
The proceeds were contributions from orders made by ten government-linked and local companies printing specially made greeting cards and Hari Raya packets featuring the artwork of Pusat Ehsan students.
The contributions were made by Brunei International Airport Cargo Centre (BIACC), Berakas Power Company Sdn Bhd (BPC), Brunei Association of Hotels, Darussalam Assets, Darussidiq, McDonald’s, Muara Maritime Services, Imagine, Jerudong Park and Country Club (JPCC) and Print Plus.
“Thanks to the support of GLCs and local companies that contributed to the charity campaign by printing made-to-order Hari Raya Cards and Packets,” General Manager Print Plus, Reeda Malik said in his opening speech during the event.
“These Hari Raya cards and packets were designed by students of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Proceeds from the charity aimed to be distributed to fund the building of Pusat Ehsan School for Special Needs, the first in Brunei,” he further added.
“We strive to do better each year. This year the collection was four times more than last year. Insyaallah next year will do even better,” he concluded.
The donation was presented by Senior Investment Manager as a representative of Darussalam Asset, Edzwan Zukri POKJP DSS Haji Adanan and was received by the Executive Trustee of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah AlHajjah Maryam, Pg Datin Hajah Noraini Pg Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Momin.
