Brunei recorded 638 new recovered cases of COVID-19 on Friday, announced the Ministry of Health in an infographic.
To date, the country has recorded a total of 155,585 recoveries.
Meanwhile, two cases under Category 4 have been admitted for close monitoring and require the aid of oxygen assistance.
Whereas, 1 case under Category 5 requires the assistance of artificial ventilation and is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
COVID-19 vaccination status
The Ministry of Health also shared 72.9 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their second vaccination.
Whereas, 49.1 per cent of children aged 5 to 11 years old have received their third dose of vaccine.
Meanwhile, the coverage rate for the country’s citizens and residents who have received three doses of the vaccine is 72.6 per cent.
Whereas, 9.3 per cent of the general populatio have received their fourth dose of vaccine.
