The sole distributor of Renault in Brunei, Maju Motors recently collaborated with UBD Corp and Jiwaku Ikhlas as part of its CSR initiative to provide donations to underprivileged communities.
A contribution of $1,000 was made by the company to purchase daily necessities for 20 single mothers and their family.
On hand to present the donations to the President of the Single Mothers Movement Association (PGIT) Norliha Haji Besar was Sales Manager of Renault, Rina Az.
On the same day, the company also participated in the charity bazaar – Jualan Amal, an event in collaboration with 20th Jiwaku Ikhlas and UBD Corporation.
The Jualan Amal event showcased products from participating single mothers from food and drinks to clothing.
The charity is a part of the autodealer’s effort to give back to the community, said Maju Motors in a statement.
