The interior retains its utility and user-friendly layout but adds a dash of style by displaying a refreshingly easy-to-us MediaNav Evolution touchscreen that comes with a USB, AUX and Bluetooth where you can conveniently plug in your mobile devices and access your music and phone calls.

The Triber is paired with larger dimensions in all directions to maximize cargo and luggage space which also makes for a spacious cabin also providing both the driver and passenger ample space for headroom and legroom.

In terms of dimension, the seven-seater measures 3990 mm in height and has a ground clearance of 180mm.

Under the hood and safety features

In terms of performance, the Triber offers a perfect balance of performance and fuel economy.

The mini MPV is powered by a peppy 1.0 Litre 3-cylinder petrol Energy Engine engine that features an Automatic Manual Transmission which is a semi-automatic transmission where the main function is to automate the Manual Transmission.

Complementing the sturdy performance the Triber also features the Easy-R Technology that includes Reverse, Neutral and Drive modes designed for effortless driving

In addition to performance, the MPV is designed and engineered with optimum safety in mind.

In terms of safety, the Triberr is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), airbags (driver and front passenger, speed alert warning, rear reverse camera and many more.

On the road with Renault Triber

The Bruneian team recently tested out the Renault Triber for its full potential and prowess starting from the Renault Showroom at Telanai to Meragang Beach.

The MPV boasts optimal road performance and road-holding capabilities throughout the drive.

During our journey along the Muara-Tutong highway, the car was perfectly stable and planted to the ground which inspired confidence from behind the wheel.

Another highlight was how the good steering felt during the corners and tight bends around the Jerudong area. Its light steering and good feedback were easy to maneuver.

Further into our drive, around the bustling Berakas area, the mini MPV provides an enthusiastic acceleration combined with impressive sharp handling and agility on the road.

The brakes are excellently calibrated while the pedal provides a good feel and controlled fashion.

Adding to that, the Triber also maintains its confidence and control over potholes and puddles.
