Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful Sdn Bhd (IITGT) will be offering the Duyufur Rahman Takaful Scheme coverage to the Ministry of Health (MOH) medical officers who will be on duty in Makkah and Madinah during the Hajj season this year.
The scheme will provide comprehensive hajj pilgrimage-related takaful coverage which includes personal accidents, medical expenses, travel inconvenience, medical assistance and repatriation.
According to IITGT, the provision of comprehensive coverage is aimed to protect the welfare and well-being of the medical officers in the event of an unexpected accident.

In addition to that, it is also aimed to express their gratitude towards MOH and the medical officers for their continuous and exceptional service over the years. This was announced during a briefing event at Al- ‘Afiah Hall, Ministry of Health.
During the event, General Manager of IITGT Haji Zamrin bin Haji A. Ghani delivered his opening remarks. This was followed by a briefing on the Duyufur Rahman Takaful Scheme by Senior Executive Officer of IITGT, Hj Md Faizal Hj Wahab,
Present as the guest of honour was the Permanent Secretary of Health, Hj Maswadi Haji Mohsin.

Also present for MOH were the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary, Acting Head of Director, Acting Director, Officers and Consultant of the Ministry of Health.
