Just like its name, ‘Alphard’ which means the brightest star in the constellation, the latest model is a head turner.
The new generation Alphard bears inherited elegance, a value that allows all passengers to immerse themselves in a premium and exceptional atmosphere when travelling.
With enhanced performance, the all-new Alphard has better fuel efficiency, reduced vibration and noise, and improved driving dynamics.
Exclusive Exterior, Refined Elegance
As visible from the prominent front grille design, the vehicle has evolved to a majestic front face with a sense of luxury, composed of staircase shape and decoration.
With its design language being ‘Impactful Luxury’, the all-new Alphard portrays distinctive exterior features that make it more prominent and refined than ever.
The meticulous attention to detail makes a statement of luxury, emphasising the subtle elegance that dominates the exterior.
An obvious change is the signature front grille which now eliminates the vertical frames found in previous models, giving a floating effect with light-emitting parts on the fascia.
Not only that, but Alphard’s emblem is no longer placed on the front grille. It is now on the distinctive B-pillar located on the upper part of the side doors, stretching from front to back.
Its 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheel allows the premium car to support a sleek style that enhances its commanding exterior, which is a perfect complement to the personality of the luxury MPV.
The LED headlamps with cornering lighting and rear combination lamps enhance visibility while also giving the vehicle a powerful and intense appearance.
The headlamps’ slimmer and fearless look directs the advanced feeling by flashing the lower part of the headlamp. The dynamic design of the rear combination lamps emphasises presence equally during the day and at night.
At the back, the latest generation Alphard has elegant rear light graphics that gives a floating effect while only the 2.4 Turbo has the ‘Executive Lounge’ label to indicate the MPV variants.

Interior Features for Turbo 2.4T (Executive Lounge)

Unlike the 2.5 NA, the Turbo 2.4 has a left and right independent moonroof while the other has none.
Passengers in the second row enjoy more exclusivity. Each seat has its own detachable touch display that allows seat occupants to access some controls remotely such as adjusting windows and sunshades.
They can also enjoy some screentime from the overhead 14-inch rear seat entertainment (RSE).
Moreover, for a more comfortable driving experience, the steering wheel is equipped with a touch tracer as well as a head-up display (HUD) projected onto the windscreen.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, the Toyota Alphard boasts a range of powertrains, from the Turbo 2.4 to the Natural Aspirated (NA) 2.5.
The Turbo 2.4 which is known as the ‘Executive Lounge’ is powered by a four-cylinder, inline, 16-Valve DOHC, chain drive (with Dual VVT-i) turbocharged petrol engine with an 8-Speed auto transmission.
It has a maximum power of 275 HP and a maximum torque of 430 Nm.
Meanwhile, the NA 2.5 is a 7-Speed CVT auto transmission powered by a four-cylinder, inline, 16-Valve DOHC, chain drive (with Dual VVT-i) petrol engine.
It has a maximum power of 180 HP and a maximum torque of 235 Nm.
What differentiates these models further – only the 2.4 Turbo has a Shift-by-Wire Gear which enables the driver to have an effortless gear change.
Moreover, the all-new Alphard models have increased body rigidity – by 150 per cent giving a more stable and comfortable ride.
Toyota Safety Sense and Safety Features
When it comes to safety, the Japanese automaker is ahead of the game.
The Toyota Alphard comes with advanced and comprehensive safety and driver assistance systems provided by the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS Version 3.0).
The panoramic view monitor in the fourth-generation Alphard gives the driver a 360-degree sight of the vehicle’s surroundings.
