The Korean Government is offering the “2024 Global Korea Scholarship for Undergraduate Degrees” to one Brunei national interested in furthering his/her studies in Korea.
The scholarship programme is designed to provide higher education in Korea for international students, with the aim of promoting international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship amongst the participating countries.
A total number of 86 students worldwide, including one successful Bruneian candidate (under the embassy track), have the opportunity to study in Korea under the 2024 GKS for Undergraduate Degree.
Only one quota is open for Brunei through the Korean Embassy’s selection either for a degree or associate degree programme.
Applicants must choose their desired fields of study from the listed programs in the University Information section provided by participating universities.
Applicants should meet the full requirements of the scholarship and completed application forms must be submitted to the Korean Embassy by October 10, 2023 by hand only.
Documents such as proof of citizenship, certificate of graduation, academic transcript, proof of age (if other than IC and passport) must be apostilled by Supreme Court before submission.
