Come one, come all! Big BWN Project is slated to return this weekend with its highly-anticipated BWN Coffee Convention.
Hosted in conjunction with International Coffee Day, the largest coffee event in Brunei will take place on 8 October from 10am to 8pm at Indera Motors, the sole and authorised retailer of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in Brunei.
The one-day event is also organised in partnership with Brunei Coffee Collective and Biz Brunei, inviting all coffee enthusiasts and the public to celebrate, learn and network over a cup of coffee.
BWN Coffee Convention is an annual event in Brunei that celebrates coffee culture and supports local coffee businesses.
“With a focus on community building, education, and networking, it provides a platform for coffee enthusiasts and professionals to come together and explore the exciting world of coffee,” said the organisation in a statement.
It added: “BWN Coffee Convention is not just any coffee event; it’s an annual tradition that celebrates the rich tapestry of Brunei’s coffee culture and supports local home-grown coffee businesses.”
This year’s edition promises to be bigger and better than ever before, featuring an exciting line-up of interactive activities, informative sessions, and a showcase of up to 20 diverse coffee businesses.
The highlights will be the exhibitor’s area with a dedicated space where local coffee roasters, cafés, and related vendors will proudly display their products and services.
This offers attendees a fantastic opportunity to discover new coffee brands and products, fostering collaboration and networking. The public can also immerse themselves in a world of coffee knowledge with a series of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions led by industry experts. Topics include brewing techniques, espresso crafting, community cupping, roasting, pour-over perfection, drinks innovation and many more. There will also be a Mini Latte Art and Mini Brewers Cup Competition by the Brunei Coffee Collective for the public to join. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a curious enthusiast, these sessions will enrich your coffee experience.
This year’s BWN Coffee Convention will be held at Indera Motors Showroom, the sole authorised retailer of Land Rover vehicles in Brunei, and will feature the family-friendly and versatile SUVs Discovery and Discovery Sport. Both vehicles will be on display, with drive experiences conducted by Land Rover Sales Consultants available for the public.
Indera Motors Sdn Bhd has also collaborated with East Layong Roastery to create a limited Discovery coffee blend, available only at BWN Coffee Convention.
