His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on Friday, had a morning excursion with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam held at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
Also in attendance were members of the delegation from Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore.
Prior to this, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam welcomed the arrival of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Singapore. Both leaders then began the excursion with a tour around Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, followed by the signing of a plaque and planting of “Ficus Burgundy” trees to commemorate the state visit of the President of the Republic of Singapore to the country.
Following the excursion, His Majesty and His Excellency proceeded to Tarindak d’Seni for breakfast.
