The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) recently held a session with members of the Legislative Council (LegCo), chaired by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah.
The LegCo delegation that was led by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Rosmawatty Haji Abdul Mumin had the opportunity to gain insights and share ideas with the minister and ministry officials.
Also present at the session were MoFE Deputy Minister (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, MoFE Deputy Minister (Fiscal) Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Permanent Secretaries, Acting Permanent Secretaries, Managing Director of Brunei Darussalam Central Bank as well as department heads and divisions at MoFE.
The meeting serves as a platform to exchange knowledge and constructive ideas toward achieving the same objective of progressing the country’s economy through a relevant and resilient national expenditure. This is also for meeting the commitment to preserving the people’s and future generations’ prosperity.
LegCo members also had the chance to identify MoFE’s initiatives and planning for the year 2023.
