Print Plus recently unveiled a collection of commemorative products for its campaign ‘HK 40 – A Commemoration for the Nation’, celebrating Brunei’s 40 years of independence.
The project which began on 4 February kicked off with a publication dubbed ‘Faces of Brunei: Stories of a Nation’, paying homage to the influential individuals who have shaped the country’s progress over four decades.
In a press conference, General Manager of Print Plus Md Reeda Hj Malik said that the company is honoured to launch the campaign that coincides with the 40th national day celebration.
“It’s an opportunity to commemorate our nation’s journey through a publication that resonates with every Bruneian. We are eager for the stories within ‘Faces of Brunei’ to inspire generations to come,” he said.
He further said that the inspiration behind the campaign was not only to mark Brunei’s four decades of independence.
“It is also reflecting on where we were and we are; the progress we made and making; as well as respecting our culture and religion,” said the general manager.
The campaign comprises three products – Faces of Brunei: Stories of a Nation coffee table book, commemorative medallions and religious books.
For the coffee table book, the public is invited to nominate individuals who have made significant contributions to Brunei’s journey since 1984. These can be leaders in various fields, whether in the community, arts, and culture, economics, or innovation.

The public will stand a chance to win a $300 voucher from Digital World when they nominate their heroes.
Upon nomination and book completion, readers are expected to find a collection of narratives showcasing the lives and contributions of forty remarkable Bruneians who have influenced our nation’s development.
The book is an invitation to explore our national identity through personal tales of ambition, challenge, and triumph, said Print Plus.
