The Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei (YEAB) recently hosted “Cambodia’s Economic Overview: Unveiling Business Opportunities & Growth Trends” at Mavens’ Learning Centre, Kiulap.
As Cambodia solidifies its status as a dynamic economic powerhouse in the Southeast Asian region, the event seeks to shed light on the myriad business opportunities and growth trends within the country’s burgeoning market.
In her welcoming remarks, President and Founder of Mavensdotlive Goh Chai Li highlighted a key action to the association’s commitment to bridging members beyond borders.
She also expressed her appreciation to Nimanja and Higher Hotel for their support in making this event possible.
Some of the guest speakers included Ambassador of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Brunei Lim Hokseng, representatives from the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) Kerady Buth and Chau Lon Molika and Founder and Managing Director of Nimanja Inc. Anderson Lim.
Their invaluable insights and expertise provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of Cambodia’s economic landscape and the potential it holds for business expansion and investment.
The session was moderated by YEAB’s Vice President II and founder of Tyne Solutions Aimi Ramlee, guiding the discussions and ensuring a fruitful exchange of ideas and strategies.
The event featured engaging discussions on critical topics such as analysis of Cambodia’s current economic status and growth prospects, identification of key sectors and industries ripe for investment, exploration of government policies and initiatives driving economic development, strategies for navigating the Cambodian market and seizing business opportunities.
At the event, Anderson Lim exemplified the spirit of young entrepreneurship as Nimanja Inc was highlighted as a prime example of a young entrepreneurial venture successfully establishing a physical presence in neighbouring countries.
He also shared insights on their ambitious plans to expand into Cambodia, illustrating the opportunities and challenges faced by businesses looking to grow in this vibrant market.
The event facilitated a mutual exchange of opportunities, allowing representatives from YEAC to explore and discover the market potential in Brunei. This cross-border interaction opened new possibilities for collaboration and investment between Brunei and Cambodia.
