Progresif Sdn Bhd’s Senior Vice President of Strategy Johan Johar presented a topic on ‘Delivering Value through Data’ at the prestigious Singapore EXPO CommunicAsia event held recently.
The 40-minute tech talk which was part of the broader TechXLR8 Crossover series captivated an audience of technology enthusiasts and business leaders with a strong emphasis on leveraging data to drive business success.
At the event, Johan emphasised the critical role of leveraging data insights for needs-based customer segmentation and delivering relevant interactions through effective channel capabilities.
He also highlighted the necessity of evolving data analysis techniques, aligning data efforts with business objectives, and maintaining an open-minded approach to uncover hidden opportunities. Johan also stressed the importance of a structured analytical approach and the integration of predictive analytics within a broader strategy, advocating for a mindset of continuous learning and collaboration in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) implementations.
Johan also shared some of his own experiences, success stories and challenges – providing some real-world examples of how data-driven strategies have shaped some of Progresif’s decisions both commercially and operationally.
At the end of the session, he provided some practical advice on their data journey and some comments as and when to rethink their approach to data.
