DST unveils ‘Digitalising. Everyone.’ and MyDST SuperApp

Datastream Digital (DST) reached a significant milestone with the launch of its new brand story, ‘Digitalising. Everyone.’ and its MyDST SuperApp at the Indera Samudera Grand Hall, the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

“By integrating diverse services into one platform, we are not just adapting to the digital age; we are leading the charge towards a cashless, connected, and inclusive Brunei,” said the CEO of DST, Radin Sufri Radin Basiuni.

“These launches are more than just milestones—they are a testament to our dedication to enhancing the daily lives of our users and driving the digital economy,” he added.

By reimagining the utilisation of technology, processes, and people, DST is paving the way for a true cashless society in Brunei, empowering MSMEs and creating a robust digital ecosystem with its e-wallet.

The new platform facilitates seamless financial transactions, fosters economic inclusion, and provides essential e-government services, enhancing efficiency and convenience.

During the event, DST officially launched its new ‘MyDST SuperApp’, designed to cater to a wide array of user requirements.

The MyDST SuperApp features an ‘e-wallet’ to facilitate seamless peer-to-peer transfers via QR code or contacts, ‘Cashback Rewards’ are also available on selected transactions, the efficient management of insurance and takaful through Insurans TAIB and users can also enjoy personalised telecommunications services encompassing data plans and bill payments.

The app also further enhances user experience with a vast Marketplace ‘Shop’, offering a curated selection of exclusive food and retail items, while simplifying the process of paying school fees with Biller services.

Not only that, the app also features robust security measures powered by ‘eID’ to ensure heightened protection against fraudulent activities and providing users with peace of mind in their digital transactions.

The launch was officiated by the guest of honour, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary Pg Dato Paduka Hj Mustapha.

Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Hj Khairuddin Abd Hamid, Ambassadors, Member of the Legislative Council and Permanent Secretaries.

The MyDST SuperApp is now available to the public and can be downloaded via Apple App Store and Google Play Store where customers verify your eID and activate the Wallet feature to start enjoying seamless transactions and exclusive benefits.
