Royal Brunei Airlines suspends Beijing flights starting 27 October

Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has suspended its services to and from Beijing, China effective 27 October 2024 with its final flight to the city on 26 October 2024.

The national carrier in a statement said that guests who have booked their travels to and from Beijing before this date will not be affected.

Currently, RB operates flights to Beijing Daxing International Airport twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.

RB Chief Executive Officer Captain Sabirin Haji Abdul Hamid said that RB will continue to monitor market conditions and aims to resume its services to Beijing in the future, once the current market conditions have improved.

“We sincerely apologise to the affected guests and are committed to assisting them with their travel plans to Beijing,” he said.

RB would also like to extend its gratitude to our government stakeholders across People’s Republic of China and Brunei Darussalam, as well as their General Sales Agent (GSA) in People’s Republic of China, Beijing Longway International Travel Service Co Ltd, for their ongoing cooperation and support for this route since its first launch in October 2019.
