The Malaysia Year End Sale 2024 (MYES 2024) is back with over 100 exciting deals and promotions!
Running from 15 November 2024 until 1 January 2025, the campaign involves a collaboration of more than 60 shopping malls and tourism partners across Malaysia.
The campaign which was announced by Tourism Malaysia is an effort to simplify and enhance the shopping experience, providing more value and joy to every traveller.
The Malaysia Year-End Sale Campaign – Brunei Edition was launched Tuesday at Tourism Malaysia Brunei Darussalam’s office.
In her speech, Director of Tourism Malaysia Brunei Darussalam Hazrina Azman said that the promotion of MYES will be intensified through the mass media and offer discounted “Cuti-Cuti Malaysia” hotel stay packages in collaboration with Straits Central Agency.
“Promotion on Malaysia Year-End Sale Tourism Malaysia aims to attract more tourists from Brunei Darussalam to visit Malaysia during this campaign in hopes for them to enjoy “MY Priceless Experience” in line with the national sales campaign slogan,” she said.
She further said that the initiative is expected to have a significant impact on the Bruneian tourist arrivals to Malaysia.
“From January to September 2024, Malaysia recorded a total of 863,467 tourists from Brunei Darussalam with an increase of 50.2% against the same period in 2023, making it one of the top ten markets for tourist arrivals to Malaysia,” said the director.
It is also the perfect time to indulge in a variety of delicious Malaysian dishes – from street food to the diverse offerings of Malaysia’s multicultural community, as well as the tantalising gastronomic experience of East meeting West.
The shopping and dining experience becomes even more exciting with a variety of entertainment, recreation, and leisure activities available in contemporary and integrated shopping malls across the country.
A total of seven leading shopping malls are ready to hold Midnight Sales in conjunction with this Malaysia Year-End Sales Campaign giving tourists opportunity to shop until late at night.
The shopping malls involved are Sutera Mall Johor Bahru, The Exchange TRX, Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang, Freeport A’Farmosa Outlet Park, Noor Arfa Craft Complex, Aeon Mall Tebrau City, and Aeon Mall Kota Bharu.
In attendance at the launch were High Commissioner – Designate of Malaysia His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, Managing Director of Straits Central Agencies (SCA) Haji Musa Haji Adnin and Head of Card Business at Baiduri Bank Davern Lim.
