Straits Central Agencies rewards winners of Cuti – Cuti Malaysia Swipe & Win campaign

Straits Central Agencies (SCA) rewarded eight winners of the Cuti – Cuti Malaysia Swipe & Win campaign, a collaboration with Tourism Malaysia and Baiduri Bank.

During the promotion held from August 2024 until 31 October 2024, Baiduri cardholders who spent a minimum of BND20 in a single receipt on either their Baiduri Credit or Debit Cards in Malaysia had one lucky draw entry, while payments made at SCA received three chances.

In a prize presentation event held on the sidelines of the Malaysia Year End Sale 2024, General Manager of SCA said that the establishment received a positive response from the campaign debut last year.

“Hence, we increased the total prizes from five to eight winners this year. We would like to thank our partners, Tourism Malaysia and Baiduri Bank for trusting Straits Central Agencies once again for this collaboration. We look forward to a continuous working relationship, especially in preparation for welcoming Visit Malaysia Year 2026,” said Nur Khadijah Abdullah.

Grand prize winner Alice Teo won 30,000 Royal Skies Miles and a four-day three-night stay in Penang along with a Samsonite Luggage set.

The second prize consisting of 30,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day two-night stay at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur and an INSTA360 Go Camera went to Amirah Haziqah.

Moreover, Lucy Formoso took home 25,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day two-night stay in Kuching with American Tourister cabin Luggage and an Apple AirTag.

Fourth prize winner Mohammad Azri Patrick claimed 20,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day and two-night stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu.

Azlan Akob won 10,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day two-night stay 3 at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu and MYR150 Parkson vouchers while Olufunke Adenike received 10,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day and two-night stay at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu.

Seventh prize winner Sharifah Anni walked away with 10,000 Royal Skies Miles, a three-day two-night stay at Mercure Hotel Kota Kinabalu.

Finally, Emannuel Ulim won a travel voucher worth $150 and an American Tourister cabin baggage.

Prior to the prize presentation, SCA named three winners of its Instagram Reel competition which video contents featured shopping, food or places of interest in Malaysia.

Individuals with Instagram handles @apakanfizah, @cin4uu and @kerol.anuar won a three-day two-night stay for two in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Miri, respectively.

Director of Tourism Malaysia Brunei Darussalam Hazrina Azman in her speech said that to ensure Malaysia remains the preferred destination for Bruneians and in order to reach a target of 1.3 million arrivals from Brunei this year, continuous collaboration with local travel partners has a significant impact.

“Hence, we are very delighted to work alongside Straits Central Agencies and Baiduri Bank Brunei on this campaign and hope such partnership will continue to grow,” she said.

She added: “Malaysia recorded 811,833 Brunei tourist arrivals in 2023, and we anticipate positive growth by the end of this year”.

On his part, Head of Retail Banking at Baiduri Bank Lim Kian Chiong said that Baiduri Bank is committed to enhancing their customers’ lifestyles by providing exceptional value through exclusive promotions like the ‘Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ Swipe & Win campaign.

“This initiative not only rewards our cardholders for their loyalty but also supports meaningful collaborations with esteemed partners such as Tourism Malaysia and Straits Central Agencies. To conclude the campaign, a Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Open Day was also held at the Tourism Malaysia Office with SCA’s offering of CCM discounted packages, hotel deals in Malaysia and free special edition SCA & Tourism Malaysia merchandise, Parkson vouchers, Sabah Tourism t-shirts and many more.
