Darussalam (AITI) is supporting Mindtrex Academy by providing subsidies for 150 Mindtrex Pro accounts where users will be able to access the learning platform for free for one month.
In the wake of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in the country, Mindtrex Academy has started an initiative to support students studying from home in line with the Ministry of Education’s online learning guidelines.
It is the first Bruneian-made mobile application to provide game-based e-Learning solutions for primary students, in Year 4 to Year 6 and will soon offer content for Year 1 to Year 3 students as well.
The application comes with fun and interactive learning features, including gamification elements, a live leader board and a redeemable rewards system.
The Mindtrex Academy app has been proven to be successful in helping primary school students in the country with an improvement of up to 131% in their performance.
The fun and interactive learning experience helps to hold a child’s attention, and the contents are in accordance with the syllabus provided by the Ministry of Education.
Mindtrex Academy assists a child’s academic growth in knowledge of core subjects with access to over 15,000 questions and answers.
With the help of new data-driven and behaviour-shaping technologies,
quality content can be delivered to the masses in a more efficient and personalised way, but technology can also be utilised to empower a child to self-learn, self-assess and master critical knowledge even with minimal adult supervision.
Mindtrex has garnered almost 3,000 registered users since its release in August 2020 and is currently increasing progressively as e-Learning rises due to the pandemic.
The full version of Mindtrex Academy was launched on 22 February 2021, featuring data analytics for parents to track their child’s improvement, a leader board and a reward system that rewards users with vouchers from various local vendors.
Mindtrex Academy is developed by Mindtrex Academy Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Mindplus Education.
One parent, Hj Masari, who has been thankful for the support said that the app has been useful and helped improved his son’s studies.
“It is easy to understand and can be used any time, it is useful for us in teaching our kids as it provides solutions and steps to find the answers for every question, thank you AITI and Mindtrex Academy,” he said. – Nurhana Diah
