KUMON Excellence honours students in Mathematics, English programme

KUMON Excellence Tanjung Bunut recently hosted the Advanced Student Honour Roll (ASHR) awards, celebrating achievements in the KUMON Mathematics and English programme over four qualifying levels.

The levels are for the six months, two years, three years and five years ahead of school grade level.

KUMON Excellence Chief Instructor Feby said that it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, commitment and perseverance in a child undergoing the KUMON programme.

“These ASHR students are examples of just that. By celebrating the achievements of students who are studying at a higher level, it motivates them to pursue learning beyond their current abilities,” she said in a statement.

The virtual award ceremony not only honour the success of the students but also giving them the chance to meet their peers online.

Amidst the second wave of the pandemic in the country, the global educational network continues to receive new student enrolments, with children attending twice a week of online classes and receiving online guidance and instructions from the program.

KUMON aims to see more children in Brunei benefitting from the program. It is one of the world’s leading after-school enrichment program, available in 57 countries and regions with 4.2 million subject enrolments. –Azrina Zin
