Luck was shining on Siti Rasidah Hj Abu Bakar when she won $15,000 for Takaful Brunei’s grand draw of the “SANANG2 MANANG” campaign.
The final round saw Siti Rashidah and Handrie Amin go head-to-head in a tic-tac-toe challenge to complete the Takaful Brunei Mobile puzzle to claim the first random pick between the $15,000 and $6,000 cash prize.
Even though she did not get to pick first, her face lit up the moment she pulled out a card and saw the grand prize.
“I am happy, Alhamdulilah for receiving this reward,” she shared.
In an interview with The Bruneian, Siti Rashidah said that she had bought motor insurance for her car via the Takaful Brunei Mobile app which made her eligible for the campaign.
She also expressed appreciation to Takaful Brunei, noting that the Takaful Brunei Mobile app provided with convenient access to their insurance without having to line up to go to the nearest TBA counter.
She added how she was grateful for having been able to take part in the campaign and is looking forward to purchasing more products with Takaful Brunei.
Meanwhile, the first and second runner-ups of the Takaful Brunei Mobile prize presentation were Handrie Amin and Abdul Wahab bin Haji Bakar each taking home $6,000 and $2,000, respectively.
On his part, second runner-up Handrie Amin said that he had renewed his motor insurance as well as the Musafir Travel Takaful and Golfer’s Takaful via the Takaful Mobile app which made him eligible for the campaign.
He also expressed appreciation to Takaful Brunei Am (TBA), noting that he has always been a loyal customer of TBA.
He further expressed his gratitude for having taken part in the campaign and is looking forward to saving his winnings for his daughter.
The event also saw seven other winners who walked away with $1,000.
The prizes were presented to the winners by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II YB Dato Dr Hj Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah.
The lucky draw was held as a private event at Ruang, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah with invited guests comprising of the finalists, Takaful Brunei senior management and employees.
The “SANANG2 MANANG” campaign, which ran from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 was intended to reward and show appreciation to its clients, as well as to promote awareness on the Takaful Brunei Mobile app.
