Dynamik Technologies recently received the prestigious Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2023 for the national welfare system, ‘Sistem Kebajikan Negara’ (SKN) under the Enterprise Software for Brunei Government.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer Haslina Haji Mohd Taib in her acceptance speech during the awarding ceremony held in Bangkok said that SKN is Dynamik Technologies’ own developed solution complete with algorithms, harmonising major welfare matrices.
“Meaningful data analytics have been collected which is aimed to contribute to policy development, aid with decision making and create programmes to reduce poverty,” she said.
She further said that the development of SKN could not have been possible without their project team, clients and all stakeholders involved who have been working tirelessly to deliver the solution including those working to enhance the system for COVID-19 pandemic reliefs.
“We are able to convert innovation to everyday life through our solutions. Recently, with the formation of the Borneo Economic Community that Dynamik Technologies serves as one of the main implementation partners for Dagang Borneo, it is hoped that SKN can be used in the sub-region especially by agencies and non-government organisations who distribute assistance and welfare to aid in improving the poverty line in South East Asia,” said the ceo.
The Award for Enterprise Software for the Brunei Government recognises SKN’s pivotal role in transforming welfare distribution, streamlining and harmonizing processes and welfare matrices and providing an improved citizen-centric user experience, underscores Dynamik Technologies’ commitment to providing innovative solutions that empower both the public and the private sectors in the digital era.
Also attending the ceremony were Head of Corporate Services at Dynamik TechnologiesHajah Siti Rozana Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Change Management Specialist Munerah Abd Rahman and Acting Assistant Service Delivery Manager Hartinie Mohd Antin.
The Asian Technology Excellence Awards programme aims to recognise exceptional technological projects and innovations, from technology companies that pioneered ground-breaking IT products and solutions to innovative technology initiatives that made an impact on businesses.
This year’s entries were evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges consisting Steve Lo, Chief Innovation Officer at EY Asia-Pacific; Wilson Chow, Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Leader at PwC China; Darren Yong, Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications at KPMG Asia Pacific; Yang Chi Chih, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry Leader at Deloitte Southeast Asia; and Jason Yau, Regional Leader, Asia Pacific at RSM International and Partner, Technology & Management Consulting at RSM Hong Kong.
In judging entries, Yong emphasised the importance of the ability to solve complex client problems, along with having a commercial perspective.
“In a fast-moving environment, individuals that can extrapolate and connect in ways that demonstrate their ability to solve complex client problems in elegant ways using technology would be well regarded. Coupled with a commercial view that can deliver scalable value for businesses, these combined qualities would elevate any submission,” he said.
