In his welcoming speech the Ambassador highlighted how cultural cooperation plays an increasingly important role in national development and regional integration, proved by the example of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community.

“For Vietnam and Brunei Darussalam, cultural cooperation and people to people exchanges are an integral part of the comprehensive partnership, which was established in 2019 during the visit to Viet Nam of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam,” he said.

“During the official visit of Viet Nam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Brunei this February, it has been agreed that the two countries will enhance sports, cultural and tourism activities and exchanges with a view to deepening our bilateral relations in the 2023 to 2027 period and beyond,” he added.

Throughout the event, Radisson Hotel will offer gastronomes a buffet menu prepared by a Chef from Radisson Blu Resort in Phu Quoc, Viet Nam.

The buffet menu features the best of Vietnam such as Hoi An Chicken Rice, Stir Fried Seafood, Wok Fried Fish in Tomato Sauce, Wok Fried Scallop with Pepper Sauce, Bell Pepper & Red Onion and more.

Aside from the popular and much-loved Vietnamese cuisine, the event will also serenade guests to a live music performance by Vietnamese and Bruneian artists.
