Brunei-based company Syarikat Pakar Tenaga Bersatu Sdn Bhd (PTB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SIRIM Berhad, a leading Malaysian government-owned quality assurance and technology solutions provider.
The collaboration between PTB and SIRIM aimed to foster cooperation, collaboration, promotion, and research across various industries in Brunei.
The MoU was signed by PTB’s Managing Director, Pengiran Hishamuddin Alli Pengiran Jaya Indera Pengiran Haji Mokhtar Puteh and SIRIM’s President and CEO Dato’ Indera Ir. Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad.
The signing ceremony, hosted by the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD), was witnessed by its President, Haji Abdul Saman Haji Ahmad.
Since its establishment in 2013, PTB has been focused on training and has progressively expanded its operations into other local and international sectors.
SIRIM Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary under Malaysia’s Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry, is celebrated for its extensive expertise in industrial research, technology development, certification, testing, inspection, measurement, calibration, and standards research.
